French disabled football fans travelled to London

12 April 2011

In February a group of French disabled football fans travelled to London with YOOLA who provide disabled friendly packages to sporting events. The 4 day trip included a visit to the Emirates Stadium and going to watch an Arsenal game. The group consisted of 8 disabled people, personal assistants and Malik BADSI, owner of the company.

A meeting was organized with Abou Diaby, a French player from Arsenal, who gave up his own time to talk and have dinner with the group which was really appreciated by everyone.

As well as the football match at the Emirates stadium which is very accessible to disabled fans, the group enjoyed London and felt a real difference (in comparison to France) with regard to the attitudes to disabled people generally in London. The group experienced the London night life, had fun in English pubs and everbody had a fantastic time and very successful trip.
