There are exciting volunteering opportunities that have arisen as part of the 2011 Champions League final that will be hosted at Wembley Stadium. Following the recent Champions League Final in Madrid, all eyes are now turning to London. The Final is coming to Wembley Stadium next year – and we want to ensure that the volunteering roles that are available reflect the football community. These opportunities are in a number of locations across London and the South East!
The UEFA Champions League Final is one of the world’s most prestigious annual sports events. Preparations are already well underway to host this showpiece occasion at Wembley.
We are now looking for a number of volunteers from all across sport, leisure, hospitality and travel and to help with this event.
* The volunteer commitment is generally a few days (depending on the role) between 14 and 29 May 2011.
* Each volunteer is, of course, unpaid, but they will get branded outfits, fed and watered and there is a post event volunteer party! However there is no access to tickets and travel and accommodation are unpaid.
* This will be a great opportunity for volunteers to get involved in this unique event. Most of the activity will be in London at Wembley Stadium, Hyde Park and the surrounding airports and hotels between 14 to 29 May 2011.
We are looking for volunteers to register interest to work from 14 to 28 May 2011. Some examples of volunteers used at Madrid were:

3. Warehouse Assistant; Drivers; Transport Coordinators; Media Assistant; Photographer assistants; Seat stickering assistants; Ticketing staff
